Our Fees and Charges

Commission Fees (GST inclusive)

  • Private sales selling commission up to and including $12,500 - $1,100 flat fee.

  • Private sales selling commission between $12,501 up to and including $100,000 - 8.8%

  • Private sales selling commission over $100,000 - $8,800, plus 6.6% thereafter for the remaining balance.

  • Buying commission for horses purchased at auction up to and including $33,000 - $1,100 flat fee

  • Buying commission for horses purchased at auction over $33,000 - 3.3%

  • Buying commission if no horse purchased at auction - 0%

  • Auction sales consignment commission - 2.75% on selling price. No commission if passed in.

Agistment for Fillies and Mares

  • $22.00 + GST/day - Racehorses, Dry Mares
  • $24.00 + GST/day - Wet Mares

Auction Sales Preparation Fee for Fillies and Mares (to commence a minimum 4-6 weeks pre-auction):

  • $30.00+ GST/day - Racehorses, Dry Mares (paddock)
  • $37.00 + GST/day - Racehorses, Dry Mares (boxed)

Individual Care Area

  • $27.00 + GST/day - Racehorses, Dry Mares
  • $29.00 + GST/day - Wet Mares

Boxed Rate

  • $37.00 + GST/day

Foaling Fee

  • $600.00 + GST

Weaning Fee

  • $600.00 + GST

Weanling Agistment

  • $22.00 + GST/day

Auction Sales Preparation Fee for Weanling (to commence a minimum 4-6 weeks pre-auction):

  • $50.00 + GST/day

Auction Sales Expenses (staff accommodation, amenities and travel: marketing & promotion, etc)

  • Charged pro rata for each sale. For example, if you own one horse in sales draft of five horses, you are charged for 20% of these total costs.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not agist yearlings or prepare them for auction. We can recommend a number of very professional farms that provide an excellent service for this.
