Randwick Bloodstock Agency (established 1987) is a Hunter Valley (New South Wales) based agency, with affiliations and clients worldwide. We are a full service bloodstock agency, which specialises in the buying and selling of thoroughbred broodmares and broodmare prospects. The agency's principals, Brett and Rachael Howard have spent all their working lives within the racehorse industry. Their knowledge and wealth of experience is constantly being utilised by many of Australia's most successful owners, trainers and breeders. They have operated at the highest levels within the industry, with Brett recently returning to the agency after seven years with the world's number one thoroughbred organisation Coolmore Stud.

FOREST FINCH is our Feature Mare Of The Week. Saturday 16th August was a big day for FOREST FINCH's close relations. Firstly, VIENNESE (from a 1/2 sister to FOREST FINCH) wins the MRC Quezette Stakes (Listed), then FOREST FINCH's 1/2 brother CAPTAIN BAX runs a very good second in the STC Premier Stakes (Group 2). FOREST FINCH is from a Stakes Winning STORM BIRD mare who has produced 10 winners. She is a half-sister to Group 3 winner CAPTAIN BAX, stakes winner SNIPPETS' LASS (dam of G1 winner SNITZEL, G3 winning 2yo filly VIENNESE (sold for $1.4 Million as a Yearling in 2007), Stakes Placed 2yo WIENER (sold for $1.25 Million as a broodmare in 2007), etc. Mares in FOREST FINCH's family have foals due in 2008, and stock to race by REDOUTE'S CHOICE, FASTNET ROCK, ROCK OF GIBRALTAR, etc. FOREST FINCH has had 3 foals to race, all winners, inc. Sydney winner AFFORESTATION, Sydney placed CANNY FINCH, and FLYING ALONG (won 3 of 4 starts). FOREST FINCH's 2006 KEMPINSKY colt sold for $100,000, she has a 2007 KEMPINSKY filly to come. FOREST FINCH is not in-foal, and sells with a 2008 booking to HOLY ROMAN EMPEROR. The asking price for FOREST FINCH is $70,000+GST, with another $30,000+GST being payable on a 45 day PPT to regally bred young DANEHILL stallion HOLY ROMAN EMPEROR.
