Produce Record:
2006 Missed to Green Tune (USA). ORAIA was in
France and had only just turned 3yo at the time she was covered, she was
still very immature.
2007 Not served in 2006. As ORAIA had
been covered in France in the early part of 2006, and arrived in
Australia in early 2007, the Australian Stud Book required that a mare
return was completed for the 2006 southern hemisphere season. ORAIA was
actually still in France in the latter part of 2006.
2008 Not served in 2007. ORAIA was sold
for $185,000 at the 2007 Inglis Easter Broodmare Sale, as a racing &
breeding prospect. Her new owner put her into training to try and win a
race with her before the 2007 breeding season. She commenced racing in
August but got stranded in Tamworth due to the EI outbreak. By the time
she was able to move (late October) her owner decided not to send her to
stud in 2007 and to leave her in training. She won her first two starts in
early 2008.
2009 Missed to Danehill Dancer. ORAIA had an
early positive on her second cover and then tested empty at 30 days. She
was re-covered late in the season and failed to conceive.
2010 Due to Fastnet Rock. Last service date 8th
October 2009. (second cover)
